After 20 years at the Square & Compass, Windmill Hill nr Taunton, Chris and Janet Slow have left the trade for a well earned retirement by the sea. Here’s Chris on his final morning as jovial host emptying out the (flooded) water meter so we can get a reading.
Since they moved in they’ve added a function suite, letting rooms and a house to the site and we’ve loved helping them grow their business. It’s been an exciting time, given the ups and downs of running a busy pub and restaurant, but they’ve kept on working hard and we wish them all the best.
